- Rose Festival Fleet Week (June 6-9): During Fleet Week, all active military personnel receive free admission. Valid military ID, discharge papers, or other official military identification must be presented at the Welcome Center.
- Veterans Day (November 11): On Veterans Day, active military personnel, military veterans, and their accompanying families are granted free admission. Families of deployed military personnel also receive free admission. Veterans Day at the Garden is generously sponsored by The Oregonian in 2024.
- Special Tickets: For those holding promotional or special tickets that require redemption, please visit the Welcome Center upon arrival for assistance. These ticket types cannot be reserved online in advance.
