America First: A Return to Common Sense
The history of the United States is filled with inspiring stories of courageous individuals who dedicated their lives to building America into the greatest nation in the world. Generations of American patriots have embodied the American spirit of strength, determination, and love of country to overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges. Time and again, the American people have demonstrated their ability to conquer any obstacle and withstand any force that opposes them.
In its early days, the Republic triumphed over what was then the most powerful empire in the world. In the 20th century, America defeated Nazism and Fascism, and subsequently emerged victorious over Soviet Communism after a 44-year Cold War.
However, the nation now faces a period of serious decline. Its future, identity, and way of life are under unprecedented threat. Today, it is imperative to reignite the same American spirit that guided the nation through past challenges to pave the way for a brighter future.
For decades, politicians have prioritized overseas interests, trading away American jobs and livelihoods through unfair trade deals, driven by a misguided belief in globalism. They have shielded themselves from criticism and the consequences of their actions, leading to uncontrolled borders, rising crime in cities, the weaponization of the justice system, and a pervasive sense of hopelessness among young people. They have rejected American history and values, effectively working to undermine the very foundation of the country.
In 2016, President Donald J. Trump emerged as an unwavering champion of the American people. He rekindled the American spirit and called for a renewal of national pride. His policies spurred historic economic growth, job creation, and a resurgence of American manufacturing. President Trump and the Republican Party steered America away from the pessimism of decades of failed leadership, demonstrating the American people’s desire for national greatness once more.
Yet, after nearly four years of the Biden administration, America is grappling with rampant inflation, open borders, escalating crime, attacks on children, and global conflict, chaos, and instability.
Drawing inspiration from the heroes who built and defended this nation, we will persevere. We will restore a nation governed by, of, and for the people. We will Make America Great Again.
We will re-establish a nation founded on truth, justice, and common sense.
Common sense dictates, as President Trump stated, that “If we don’t have a Border, we don’t have a Country.” Restoring sensible border security and immigration policy requires a series of measures that were once considered essential and self-evident. We must secure the Southern Border by completing the Border Wall initiated by President Trump. Significant portions of the wall have already been constructed and are proving highly effective. The remaining construction can be completed swiftly, efficiently, and affordably. We must also rigorously vet those entering the country through other means to ensure that no one enters without legal authorization. Furthermore, we must deport the millions of illegal migrants encouraged by Joe Biden’s deliberate policies to invade our country, starting with the most dangerous criminals, in collaboration with local law enforcement. Biden’s migrant invasion must not be allowed to alter the fabric of our nation and will be immediately defeated under a Trump Administration and a Republican Congress.
Common sense dictates that domestic manufacturing and low inflation are essential. Without them, the economy, military equipment, and supplies become vulnerable to foreign nations, hindering the prosperity of towns, communities, and individuals. The Republican Party must return to its foundational principles as the party of industry, manufacturing, infrastructure, and workers. President Trump’s economic policy to combat inflation and revitalize manufacturing jobs is precisely what the American economy and American workers need and desire.
Common sense dictates that unleashing American energy is crucial to curbing inflation, reducing prices, building the greatest economy in history, revitalizing the defense industrial base, fueling emerging industries, and establishing the United States as the world’s manufacturing superpower. We will DRILL, BABY, DRILL and regain energy independence and dominance. The United States possesses more liquid gold beneath its soil than any other nation, and we will harness this potential to power our future.
Common sense dictates that a strong military is indispensable for defending our interests and preventing vulnerability to hostile nations. Republican Party policy must prioritize maintaining America’s military as the strongest and best-equipped in the world, while advocating for its judicious use, only when national interests are clearly threatened.
Common sense dictates that the Republican Party must champion equal treatment for all and ensure the impartial application of the law, irrespective of political affiliation or personal beliefs. Recent politically motivated persecutions led by Democrats threaten to dismantle 250 years of American principles and practices and must be stopped.
America requires determined Republican leadership at all levels of government to address critical threats to its survival: the disastrously open border, weakened economy, crippling restrictions on American energy production, depleted military, attacks on the American justice system, and more.
To underscore our commitment, we present to the American people the 2024 GOP Platform to Make America Great Again! We are determined to defeat inflation, address the cost-of-living crisis, restore fiscal responsibility, stabilize prices, and rapidly reduce costs.
Inflation imposes a heavy burden on American families. History indicates that inflation will not subside without policy changes. We pledge to unleash American energy, curb wasteful spending, reduce excessive regulations, secure our borders, and restore peace through strength. Through these measures, we will restore prosperity, ensure economic security, and build a brighter future for American workers and their families. Our dedication to these policies will make America stronger, more resilient, and more prosperous than ever before.
1. Unleash American Energy
Under President Trump’s leadership, the U.S. became the world’s leading producer of oil and natural gas. We are committed to regaining this position by removing restrictions on American energy production and ending the Green New Deal. Republicans will promote energy production from all sources, including nuclear, to immediately combat inflation and provide American homes, vehicles, and factories with reliable, abundant, and affordable energy.
2. Rein in Wasteful Federal Spending
Republicans will take immediate action to stabilize the economy by significantly reducing wasteful government spending and fostering economic growth.
3. Cut Costly and Burdensome Regulations
Republicans will reinstate President Trump’s deregulation policies, which saved American households $11,000 annually, and put an end to the Democrats’ regulatory onslaught that disproportionately harms low- and middle-income families.
4. Stop Illegal Immigration
Republicans are committed to securing the border, deporting illegal aliens, and reversing the Democrats’ open border policies, which have driven up housing, education, and healthcare costs for American families.
5. Restore Peace through Strength
War fuels inflation, while geopolitical stability contributes to price stability. Republicans will end global chaos and restore peace through strength, thereby reducing geopolitical risks and lowering commodity prices.
CHAPTER TWO: SEAL THE BORDER, AND STOP THE MIGRANT INVASION
Our Commitment:
Republicans propose a comprehensive plan to counteract open-border policies that have triggered a surge of illegal aliens, deadly drugs, and migrant crime. We are resolved to end the invasion at the Southern Border, restore law and order, protect American sovereignty, and ensure a safe and prosperous future for all Americans.
1. Secure the Border
Republicans will reinstate every border policy implemented by the Trump administration and cease the release of illegal aliens into the country’s interior. We will complete the Border Wall, redirect significant federal law enforcement resources to immigration enforcement, and utilize advanced technology to monitor and secure the border. We will deploy all necessary resources to stop the invasion, including redeploying thousands of troops currently stationed overseas to our Southern Border. We will deploy the U.S. Navy to establish a full Fentanyl Blockade in our region’s waters, boarding and inspecting ships for fentanyl and its precursors. Securing our nation’s border is paramount before defending the borders of foreign countries.
2. Enforce Immigration Laws
Republicans will strengthen ICE, increase penalties for illegal entry and visa overstays, and reinstate “Remain in Mexico” and other policies that effectively reduced illegal immigration to historic lows during President Trump’s first term. We will also invoke the Alien Enemies Act to remove known or suspected gang members, drug dealers, and cartel members from the United States, effectively eliminating illegal alien gang violence. We will reinstate the Travel Ban and utilize Title 42 to address the child trafficking crisis by immediately returning all trafficked children to their families in their home countries.
3. Begin Largest Deportation Program in American History
President Trump and Republicans will reverse the Democrats’ destructive open border policies that have allowed criminal gangs and illegal aliens from around the world to operate freely in the United States without consequences. The Republican Party is committed to deporting illegal aliens and removing those who have violated our laws.
4. Strict Vetting
Republicans will utilize existing federal law to prevent foreign Christian-hating communists, Marxists, and socialists from entering America. Those seeking to join our nation must demonstrate a love for our country. We will implement extreme vetting to ensure that jihadists and jihadist sympathizers are denied entry.
5. Stop Sanctuary Cities
Republicans will cut federal funding to sanctuary jurisdictions that release dangerous illegal alien criminals onto our streets instead of turning them over to ICE. We will mandate local cooperation with federal immigration enforcement.
6. Ensure Our Legal Immigration System Puts American Workers First
Republicans will prioritize merit-based immigration, ensuring that those admitted to our country contribute positively to our society and economy and do not become a burden on public resources. We will end chain migration and prioritize American workers.

Together, we will restore economic prosperity and opportunity for all Americans.
1. Cut Regulations
Republicans will significantly reduce regulations that stifle jobs, freedom, and innovation and drive up costs. We will implement transparency and common sense in rulemaking.
2. Make Trump Tax Cuts Permanent and No Tax on Tips
Republicans are committed to making permanent the provisions of the Trump Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which doubled the standard deduction, expanded the Child Tax Credit, and stimulated economic growth for all Americans. States are best positioned to manage our education system. Republicans offer a clear, precise, and USA-focused plan to stop the Radical Left Democrats’ weaponization of government and their assault on American liberty. We will restore government of, by, and for the people, ensuring accountability, protecting individual liberties, and fixing our once-corrupt elections. We are committed to upholding the Constitution of the United States, appointing judges who respect the rule of law, and defending the rights of all Americans to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We will maintain the Supreme Court with nine justices, as originally intended, and will oppose any attempts by the Democrat Party to expand its size.

We will prohibit the federal government from colluding with any entity to censor lawful speech, defund institutions engaged in censorship, and hold accountable all bureaucrats involved in illegal censoring. We will protect free speech online.
3. Republicans Will Defend Religious Liberty
We are the defenders of the First Amendment Right to Religious Liberty. This right protects not only the freedom to worship according to one’s conscience but also to act in accordance with those beliefs in all aspects of life, not just in places of worship. Our party includes individuals from every faith and tradition, and we respect every American’s right to follow their deeply held beliefs. To protect religious liberty, Republicans support a new Federal Task Force on Fighting Anti-Christian Bias, which will investigate all forms of illegal discrimination, harassment, and persecution against Christians in America.
4. Republicans Will Protect and Defend a Vote of the People, from within the States, on the Issue of Life
We proudly stand for families and the sanctity of life. We believe that the 14th Amendment to the Constitution guarantees that no person shall be deprived of life or liberty without due process, and therefore, states are free to pass laws protecting these rights. After 51 years, this power has been rightfully returned to the states and to a vote of the people. We will oppose late-term abortion while supporting mothers and policies that advance prenatal care, access to birth control, and IVF (fertility treatments).
5. Republicans Will End Left-wing Gender Insanity
We will keep men out of women’s sports, ban taxpayer funding for sex change surgeries, and stop taxpayer-funded schools from promoting gender transition. We will reverse Biden’s radical rewrite of Title IX Education Regulations and restore protections for women and girls.
6. Republicans Will Ensure Election Integrity
We will implement measures to secure our elections, including Voter ID, highly sophisticated paper ballots, proof of citizenship, and same-day voting. We will not allow Democrats to grant voting rights to illegal aliens.
7. Republicans Will Protect Americans in the Territories.
The territories of Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico are vital to our national security, and we welcome their greater participation in all aspects of the political process.

Republicans will promote a foreign policy centered on the most essential American interests, beginning with protecting the American homeland, our people, our borders, our flag, and our rights under God.
2. Modernize the Military
Republicans will ensure our military remains the most modern, lethal, and powerful force in the world. We will invest in cutting-edge research and advanced technologies, including an Iron Dome Missile Defense Shield. We will support our troops with higher pay and remove woke, left-wing ideologies from our military ranks.
3. Strengthen Alliances
Republicans will strengthen alliances by ensuring that our allies fulfill their obligations to invest in our common defense and by restoring peace in Europe. We will stand firmly with Israel and pursue peace in the Middle East. We will rebuild our alliance network in the region to ensure a future of peace, stability, and prosperity. Similarly, we will champion strong, sovereign, and independent nations in the Indo-Pacific, fostering peace and commerce.
4. Strengthen Economic, Military, and Diplomatic Capabilities
Republicans will strengthen economic, military, and diplomatic capabilities to safeguard the American way of life from the harmful influences of countries that oppose us globally.
5. Defend America’s Borders
Despite significant obstacles, President Trump has constructed hundreds of miles of the border wall, and we are committed to completing the job swiftly. Republicans will mobilize military personnel and assets as necessary to aggressively combat cartels that traffic drugs and people into our country.
6. Revive our Industrial Base
Our industrial base is crucial for providing good jobs for our citizens and ensuring the reliable production of vital defense platforms and supplies. Our policy is to revitalize our industrial base, prioritizing defense-critical industries. Equipment and parts essential to American security must be MADE IN THE USA.
7. Protect Critical Infrastructure
Republicans will utilize all instruments of national power to protect our nation’s critical infrastructure and industrial base from malicious cyber actors. This will be a national priority, and we will elevate security standards for our critical systems and networks and defend them against malicious actors.
